More info
Club Colette: Born from a burning desire to take underground music back to its humble beginnings. Our intimate audio space has only one mantra: Conserve dance music culture.
Elevated dance platforms, impeccable audio, XL sound booth, outdoor terrace & the second city’s smallest room 2, a converted abandoned Chicken Shop, where the DJ booth sits in the middle of the kitchen – with local + international artists. As culture spaces get bigger, our’s got smaller.
Friday night programming is all about afro house + hip hop, whilst Saturday is house + techno + minimal.
Brought to you by the team behind Mama’s.

[Your questions answered]
How do I apply for a job at Club Colette?
We’re always on the hunt for likeminded, creative individuals and students to work at Club Colette. Please send your CV and something fun about yourself to benjy@birminghamspaces.co.uk. You’ll need to be able to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
How do I get to Club Colette?
We’re a 10 minute walk from Bullring, and a 15 minute walk from New Street Station. You can click here for how to find us.
How old do you need to be to get in?
We’re a licensed premises; that means that you have to be 18+ to get in. Please make sure you bring your ID with you. As the old saying goes – no ID, no entry. We only accept a valid passport, foreign national ID card, driving license, or Home Office approved PASS hologram as identification/proof of age.
I’ve lost something in the club, can you help?
Please drop an email to madi@mamarouxs.co.uk where we’ll be able to assist. Let us know your name, number, the date in which you lost your item, and a detailed description of your item. Please be aware we only keep lost items for 28 days.
Is there a dress code?
We’re pretty laid back at Club Colette. After all, we’re all about self expression, but there are a few items of clothing that we don’t allow. These are: no tracksuits, no active fit, no large man bags over A4, no balaclavas. Cargo’s and shorts are allowed.
What is Club Colette’s drug policy?
Club Colette operates a strict zero tolerance to drugs policy. Anybody caught in possession of drugs inside the venue will be banned from the venue, and also reported to West Midlands Police. The same applies for anyone asking for drugs.
What is Club Colette’s search policy?
Everyone coming to party at Club Colette will be searched on arrival – you will also be metal detected. If you refuse to be searched, you will not be allowed to enter the club. We may, at any point, ask you to come for a further search whilst inside the venue in response to something that has happened inside the club. If you refuse, we will detain you and West Midlands Police will be called.
When is last entry?
Don’t be a wally and leave it to the very last minute. Last entry times at Club Colette are strict, but all events have different little details – check the T&C’s and event info on your ticket confirmation or event description.
